Had a great summer- so busy! We had lots of playdates at the park, walks to the library and quick trips to the playground. Abigail is big enough now to walk to the close playground (and usually most of the way home) without the stroller- or sometimes with a stuffed animal riding in it instead.

The past few weeks we did lots of visiting- cousins at the shore and fun at grandparents’ houses. We got in some baking with Nana on a rainy day, and some pool time with Grandma on a sunny day! She got to hang out with her uncles (and continue to wrap them around her little finger) Unfortunately, our visit was cut short by a hurricane! We lucked out by rushing home for just some rain and wind, but all of the grandparents we were just visiting had no power for quite a few days- not a fun way to end the summer.

Now we are back to school, Abigail is so excited to start her new “big-kid school” a few days each week. She was thrilled to buy a lunchbox today, since now she has to bring a lunch, but we didn’t find any teeny backpacks as of yet, which we don’t really need but she would probably love. I hope she loves the new school as much as she thinks she will. Can’t believe she is getting so big!
